room temperature overnight.
·After the reaction is complete, evaporate the solvent under reduced pressure and dissolve the residue in
EtOAc.
·Stir the solution with potassium carbonate and filter, then dry the organic layer with MgSO4.
·Concentrate the organic phase under vacuum to obtain L-glutamic acid ethyl ester.
