General Purpose Acetoxy Silicone Sealant | Acid Cure Silicone Sealant Manufacturer
SEIMEDA General Purpose Acetoxy Silicone Sealant is a one-component, moisture-curing silicone sealant developed for general glass glazing, glass assembly, ceramic sealing and compatible non-porous surfaces. It cures at room temperature and forms a flexible rubber seal with good adhesion to clean glass and glazed materials.
This GP acetoxy silicone sealant is suitable for glass processors, window and door workshops, hardware distributors, building material wholesalers and general construction buyers looking for a cost-effective silicone sealant for routine sealing and assembly work.
Product positioning: This product is intended for general-purpose, non-structural sealing. It should not be used as a substitute for structural glazing silicone, stone sealant, aquarium silicone or project-specific weatherproof sealant.

One-Component Acetoxy Cure
The product is ready to use without on-site mixing. It cures by reacting with atmospheric moisture and forms a flexible silicone rubber seal.
Fast Surface Curing
Skin forming time ≤3 hours; full cure in 24 hours (23°C, 50% RH); extrusion rate ≥80 mL/min
The sealant develops a surface skin relatively quickly under normal temperature and humidity conditions. Full curing time depends on joint depth, temperature, humidity and the amount of sealant exposed to air.
Non-Sag Application
Slump ≤3 mm in vertical joints; no deformation in horizontal applications
The paste consistency supports vertical and horizontal application without excessive slumping, helping installers form cleaner and more consistent joints
Flexible Seal After Curing
Tensile modulus ≤0.4 MPa at 23°C
Tensile modulus ≤0.6 MPa at -20°C
Once fully cured, the sealant remains flexible and can accommodate normal movement in properly designed non-structural joints.
Strong Adhesion to Glassand Ceramic
The acetoxy curing system provides reliable adhesion to properly cleaned glass, glazed ceramic and other approved non-porous surfaces.
