SEIMEDA manufactures one-component, neutral-curing MS Modified Silane Sealant based on silane-terminated polymer (STP) technology. As part of our construction sealants and adhesives range, this MS polymer sealant provides flexible, paintable sealing for window and door joints, precast concrete panels, metal assemblies, and multi-material construction applications.
We supply silane modified polymer sealant to construction material distributors, contractors, and OEM brands. Our MS sealant combines multi-substrate adhesion, weather resistance, and elastic recovery, with bulk supply and packaging customization options for international buyers.

Key Features & Typical Properties
Paintable Surface: MS polymer sealant can be painted with compatible coatings, making it suitable for joints that require a finished appearance. Paint compatibility should be tested before application.
Multi-Substrate Adhesion: Suitable for evaluation on concrete, masonry, glass, metal, PVC, wood, and coated surfaces. Primer requirements depend on the actual substrate.
High Elasticity: Elongation at break ≥450%, elastic recovery ≥80%, and movement capability ±20% help the cured sealant accommodate joint movement.
Neutral-Cure Formulation: The one-component hybrid polymer sealant cures with atmospheric moisture and provides a non-corrosive sealing system for compatible building materials.
Exterior Weather Resistance: Developed for building joints exposed to sunlight, moisture, and temperature changes, subject to the selected application requirements.
Application Efficiency: Skin formation time of 20–40 minutes and curing speed ≥3.0 mm/day under the stated reference conditions support construction and assembly scheduling.

MS Polymer Sealant Applications
Main Functions
SEIMEDA MS polymer construction sealant is primarily intended for elastic, non-structural joints where paintability, adhesion to different materials, and movement accommodation are required.
Window & Door Installation: Frame-to-wall perimeter joints, aluminum and PVC frame connections
Precast Concrete Buildings: Precast panel joints, concrete wall connections
Aluminum Panel Façades: Non-structural metal panel joints and façade connections
Interior Construction:Wall panel joints, skirting board connections, decorative finishing joints
Metal Assembly: Sheet-metal joints, equipment housings and compatible metal connections
Substrates & Limitations
Suitable Substrates: Concrete, masonry, glass, anodized aluminum, steel, PVC, wood, and most painted surfaces
Application Conditions: Recommended substrate temperature 5°C–35°C; surfaces must be dry, clean, and frost-free
Limitations:
Not suitable for permanent water immersion, food-contact surfaces, or direct contact with asphalt and oily materials
Composition
Based on MS Polymer (silane-modified polyether) resin, formulated with fillers, plasticizers, and special weather-resistant additives. Neutral curing system ensures no corrosion to metals or coated glass.
