The SG series of mortars are classified as chrome-corundum, high-alumina, alumina-magnesia, magnesia based and carbon-containing type. The series of products feature a suitable setting time, high bonding strength, and high temperature applications. These products are widely used in metallurgy, building materials, and petrochemical industries. SG-YK series of fillers for the ladle tapping hole are made from silica sand, high-quality chromite, and other additives. The material mix is selected based on the ladle refining method.
The product features are non-floating, high free-opening rate, easy installation, and safe. We specially developed SG series of gunning mixes using high purity raw materials such as magnesia, spinel, and unique binding agent and additives. The series of products show the features of strong adhesion, low rebounding rate, easy-sintering, excellent erosion and corrosion resistance. They are ideal choices for cold/hot repair to slag line and other parts of the ladles. SG series of Alumina Magnesite based ramming mixes are made from corundum, fused magnesite and other additives. These ramming mixes feature corrosion resistance, erosion resistance, and easy installation. The ramming mix can be applied around the seating block of a ladle bottom and tundish bottom. SG series of magnesite based ramming mixes are made from magnesia based raw materials and additives. These products feature high steel penetration resistance, corrosion resistance and easy installation. These products can be used for the joints between a ladle bottom and seating or well block. These products can also be used in tundish bottom joints. SG-PZAM series corundum spinel based shotcreting mass for ladles is made with fused corundum and fused spinel as the main raw materials. shotcreting mass give advantages of mechanized installation, there is no need to use a mold to place the material, there is no dust during the installation, the installation is time saving, the material has a short setting time, and the installed product has good corrosion and erosion resistance. Based on low-cement castable and superfine powder technologies, We developed the SG series of castables for various ladle component applications. This product line consists of castables to meet the operating conditions of different steel shops. The castables are made by setting up scientific optimization of ingredients and accurate distributing of grain size as well as adding high-quality binding agents and high-efficiency external reactants.
SG series of castables for ladles show the features of high strength, excellent thermal shock resistance, corrosion resistance and volume stability. The products can be applied BOF ladles, EAF ladles, and ladles used for refining.
As per solid rheology theory and the site service condition of refractory material, we developed the high-tech self-flow castables (SFC). Without vibration, SFC can be degassed and leveled by gravity and thereby become compact.
These products have the following advantages: good flow ability, suitable setting times, labor-saving, high-strength, long service life, good insulation, high temperature resistance, superior resistance to thermal, and good erosion-corrosion resistance.
These products can be applied in all areas where applications require low cement, ultra-low cement and non-cement castables. The corundum based SFC is widely used in ladle bottoms, around the seating block, and EAF roof filling. Both Mullite based SFC and alumina-based ones can be applied for the ladle and tundish safety linings. These products can also be installed by pumping. SFC are also available for reheat furnace applications.
