Micro Optical Switch
This kind of optical micro switchis driven by a relay to control the prism to turn, thus switch the path, with only few channels such as 1x1,1x2, and2x2. It is normally used for OLP (Optical Fiber Line Protection) system. This mini switch can be seen as an updated version of the regular mechanical optical switch in terms of the size of the case. Therefore, compared with the normal mechanical switches, it is more integratable.

How It Works
Mini Mechanical Optical Switchis of the same structure of the normal mechanical optical switch, realized by using mechanical devices to move mirror or prism physically, thus to redirect optical signals to the desired output port. Whereas, mini type is more compact and easier to be integrated into customer's system.
MEISUhas developed 1D and 2D optical fiber array and collimator array for various optical selective switches. All the arrays of MEISU's WSS wavelength selective switch can be customized according to customers' requirements.
