Copper Casting Parts
Red copper, also known as red copper, is the elemental substance of copper, so named because of its purple color. See copper for various properties. Red copper is industrial pure copper with a melting point of 1083°C, no allotropy transformation, and a relative density of 8.9, five times that of magnesium. The mass of the same volume is about 15% heavier than ordinary steel.
Materials of Copper Casting
The use of red copper is much wider than that of pure iron, and 50% of copper is electrolytically purified to pure copper every year for the electrical industry. The red copper mentioned here really needs to be very pure, containing more than 99.95% copper. A very small amount of impurities, especially phosphorus, arsenic, aluminum, etc., will greatly reduce the conductivity of copper. It is mainly used to make electrical equipment such as generators, busbars, cables, switchgears, transformers, etc., as well as heat-conducting equipment such as heat exchangers, pipes, flat-panel collectors for solar heating devices. Oxygen in copper (a small amount of oxygen is easily mixed in copper smelting) has a great influence on electrical conductivity, and copper used in the electrical industry must generally be oxygen-free copper.
