Impact-resistant, wear-resistant and high-strength titanium carbide rods
Compared with traditional high-speed steel bars, hard alloy titanium carbide round bars offer a cutting speed that can be increased by three to five times, significantly reducing processing time in mass production. These bars possess a uniform microstructure with grain size controlled below 1 μm, ensuring consistent performance across all sections of the material and preventing tool failure caused by material inhomogeneity. In the mold industry, cold stamping die inserts fabricated from this material exhibit a service life 50 to 100 times longer than that of steel inserts, thereby substantially reducing replacement frequency and overall production costs. Cemented carbide titanium carbide round rods are high-performance materials manufactured through powder metallurgy, with titanium carbide serving as the primary hard phase and cobalt or nickel acting as the binder phase. The hardness of this material exceeds HRC85, and its wear resistance significantly surpasses that of conventional steel. Even in high-temperature environments exceeding 500 °C, it maintains stable mechanical performance. Additionally, this round bar demonstrates exceptional dimensional accuracy, with diameter tolerances controlled within ±0.01 mm and surface roughness as low as Ra 0.02 μm. It is particularly well-suited for the manufacture of precision cutting tools and mold cores. When used to machine difficult-to-cut materials such as stainless steel and titanium alloys, tools made from this material exhibit a tool life 10 to 20 times greater than that of high-speed steel tools, thereby markedly improving production efficiency.
