In optical fiber and cable manufacturing, these guide wheels ensure precise fiber alignment, maintaining an optical attenuation rate below 0.2 dB/km and thereby guaranteeing high-quality signal transmission. Furthermore, the material demonstrates exceptional corrosion resistance; in chloride-rich humid environments—such as coastal industrial facilities—the guide wheels remain rust-free for over five years, significantly outperforming conventional steel counterparts, which typically degrade within three months. The dense internal structure, with porosity under 0.1%, effectively prevents coolant infiltration and subsequent internal cracking. During copper tube drawing, the guide wheel exhibits a low friction coefficient of 0.08 against the copper surface, minimizing surface defects and increasing the product qualification rate from 85% to 99%.
