Titanium carbide hard alloy guide wheel - transmission
The guide wheel installation holes are manufactured with high precision, enabling the fit clearance with the shaft to be maintained within 0.005–0.01 mm. This ensures smooth rotation without oscillation and significantly enhances guiding accuracy. The guide wheel exhibits low maintenance requirements and does not necessitate frequent lubrication; periodic cleaning of surface contaminants is sufficient, making it well suited for continuous operation in automated production lines. In metal wire mesh manufacturing, guide wheels help maintain uniform mesh aperture dimensions, limiting dimensional deviations to within 5%, thereby meeting the stringent quality standards required for filter materials. These guide wheels can be customized with various groove profiles—such as V-shaped, U-shaped, or semi-circular—based on the specific diameter and type of wire or tube, allowing adaptation to diverse production specifications. Following surface polishing, the surface roughness can reach as low as Ra 0.01 μm, effectively minimizing friction-induced wire damage and increasing the breaking strength of metal wires by approximately 10%. In automotive brake cable production, the stable guidance provided by these wheels ensures consistent cable tension, reducing the risk of in-service failure. Guide wheels made from tungsten carbide-based hard alloys demonstrate excellent thermal shock resistance, remaining crack-free under rapid temperature fluctuations—from room temperature to 300 °C and back—making them ideal for intermittent operational environments. The available size range is extensive, with diameters spanning 50 mm to 500 mm and widths from 10 mm to 100 mm, enabling compatibility with a wide variety of drawing and rolling equipment. In optical fiber and cable manufacturing, these guide wheels enable precise fiber alignment, maintaining optical attenuation below 0.2 dB/km and ensuring high-quality signal transmission.
