Titanium carbide powder has excellent chemical stability. It is insoluble in common acids and bases such as water, hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid, and only corrodes slowly in hydrofluoric acid and hot concentrated sulfuric acid. When stored in a sealed container, its shelf life can reach more than 5 years without caking or deteriorating. In the field of dentistry, it can be used to make dental implants, which are both wear-resistant and aesthetically pleasing, with a service life of over 10 years.
