Industrial titanium carbide hard alloy guide wheels

Hard alloy titanium carbide guide wheels exhibit outstanding impact resistance, making them highly resistant to cracking or deformation under sudden wire tensioning or breakage, thereby minimizing the risk of unplanned equipment downtime. These guide wheels possess excellent thermal conductivity, enabling efficient dissipation of friction-generated heat and maintaining the operational temperature below 80℃, which prevents wire annealing caused by excessive heat. In spring steel wire manufacturing, their use ensures a straightness deviation of no more than 0.5 mm/m, significantly improving the fatigue life of the final spring products. Compared with ceramic guide wheels, titanium carbide guide wheels demonstrate superior toughness and are less susceptible to fracture from minor mechanical impacts, resulting in reduced replacement frequency. Their service life is typically 2 to 3 times longer than that of ceramic counterparts. In steel cord production, a single set of titanium carbide guide wheels can process over 1,000 tons of cord, whereas ceramic guide wheels are limited to 300–500 tons. The superior cost-performance ratio of these guide wheels has facilitated widespread adoption in the tire industry, contributing to enhanced tire durability and safety.
