Contact heat resistance tester
A Contact Heat Resistance Tester is a specialized laboratory instrument designed to measure a material's ability to resist and protect against heat transfer through direct contact.
This tester works by applying a heated surface at a controlled temperature and pressure to a material specimen. It then measures the amount of time it takes for the temperature on the material's opposite (unexposed) side to reach a specified threshold, or the temperature increase after a set duration. This provides critical data for evaluating the thermal protective performance of materials used in gloves, protective clothing, and other applications where direct contact with hot objects or surfaces is a risk.
