Industrial-grade titanium carbide rods - excellent fatigue resistance
As a key material in the high-end manufacturing field, hard alloy titanium carbide round rods have excellent corrosion resistance and are not prone to rust or deterioration when used in damp, acidic or alkaline environments. Its thermal conductivity is 15% higher than that of traditional tungsten carbide round rods, which can quickly dissipate the heat generated during the cutting process and reduce the risk of tool wear due to overheating. The bending strength of the round bar can reach 2500MPa, featuring both high hardness and certain toughness, thus avoiding the problem of breakage due to impact during use. In the aerospace field, precision machining tools are often used to make engine components, meeting the requirements of high-precision machining. The oxidation resistance temperature of titanium carbide round rods made of hard alloy can reach up to 800℃. They are less prone to oxidation wear in high-temperature cutting environments and are suitable for processing difficult materials such as high-temperature alloys. After its surface undergoes mirror finish treatment, the coefficient of friction is as low as 0.1, which can reduce the frictional resistance with the workpiece and lower the processing energy consumption. In textile machinery, it is often used to make wear-resistant guide rods to ensure that the yarn is not scratched during high-speed operation and to improve the quality of textiles.
