SSAW spiral welded pipe is a spiral seam steel pipe welded by automatic double wire and double side submerged arc welding process, which is made of steel strip coils as raw material, extruded at high temperature and welded by automatic double wire and double side submerged arc welding.
SSAW spiral welded pipe includes ordinary spiral steel pipe and thick wall spiral steel pipe. The advantages of thick-walled spiral steel pipe compared with ordinary thick spiral steel pipe are: high compressive strength, high impact strength, high safety performance and longer service life. The strength of SSAW spiral welded pipe is generally higher than that of straight welded pipe. The welded pipe with larger diameter can be produced with narrow blank, and the welded pipe with different diameter of pipe can be produced with the same width of blank. The nominal diameter of SSAW spiral welded pipe is also called average outer diameter. This is due to the thin metal pipe, the outer diameter of the tube and the tube diameter is similar, so take the outer diameter of the tube and the average diameter of the pipe as the diameter of the call.

5.The electric contact pressure gauge is used to control the pressure of the oil cylinder on both sides of the conveyer to ensure the smooth conveyance of strip steel.
6.after cutting into a single steel pipe, every batch of steel pipe shall carry out strict first inspection system to check the mechanical properties, chemical composition, melting condition, surface quality of steel tube and non-destructive inspection to ensure that the pipe making process is qualified. Can be formally put into production.
7.Weld seam with continuous sound wave flaw detection mark, after manual ultrasonic and X-ray review, if there is a defect, after repair, again after non-destructive testing, until the defect has been eliminated.
