Casting ceramic sand AFS30 AFS35 AFS40 AFS45 AFS50
Ceramic Foundry Sand is a corundum based casting sand. It is produced from fusing bauxite material. As a spherical casting sand, the ceramic beads get excellent flowability, low angularity. That is helpful to improve the casting quality and surface quality.
Characters:
- Low thermal expansion coefficient and low expansion rate. That is key factor that ceramic casting sand to make precise size castings.
- Good flowability can make the sand fill the mold easier.
- High strength with goods compressive strength and bending strength.
- Chemically neutral material.
- higher refractoriness than silica sand.
- Recyclable.
- Low bulk density than chromite sand. Save resin consumption for RCS casting.
- Good thermal conductivity.
- Chemical stability.
