Human Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand ccl18 elisakit is suitable for the detection of samples from human species. Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 18 can also be called CCL18, chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 18 (pulmonary and activation-regulated), AMAC-1, AMAC1, CKb7, DC-CK1, DCCK1, MIP-4, PARC, SCYA18, C-C motif chemokine ligand 18.
Principle of the Assay
CCL18 ELISA kit applies the solid phase sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. The microplate has been pre-coated with antibody specific to CCL18. Standards or samples are then added to the microplate wells and CCL18 if present, will bind to the antibody pre-coated wells. Then a biotin-conjugated detection antibody specific to CCL18 is added to the wells to form a pre-coatedantibody-antigen-detection antibody Complex. After washing, Streptavidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells, and then a TMB substrate solution is added to the wells to incubate. TMB substrate solution turns to blue after oxidating by HRP, and finally turns to yellow after adding the stop solution. Color develops in proportion to the amount of CCL18 bound in theinitial steps. The color is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm. The concentration of CCL18 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
