Application of natamycin in food
Dairy products: In cheese, yogurt, cream and other dairy products, natamycin can inhibit the growth of mold and yeast, extend the shelf life of products. For example, when making cheese, spraying natamycin solution on the surface of cheese can effectively prevent the growth of mold on the surface and maintain the quality and taste of cheese.
Meat products: For meat products such as ham and sausage, natamycin can inhibit mold and yeast on the surface, prevent their spoilage, and do not affect the color and flavor of meat products. Natamycin can be applied to the surface of meat products by soaking or spraying.
Baked goods: In baked goods such as bread and pastries, natamycin can effectively inhibit the growth of mold, extend the shelf life of products, and maintain the freshness and taste of food. Natamycin solution is usually sprayed on the surface of baked goods after they have cooled.
Fruit and vegetable juice: Adding ganatamycin to fruit and vegetable juice can inhibit mold and yeast, prevent juice deterioration, and maintain the clarity and nutritional value of the juice. The appropriate amount of natamycin is usually added to the juice before filling.
