Description

GLPOLY XK-P45 thermal gap pad-to solve thermal management issue of head-up display in automobile.

As the advent of automobile intelligence technology, more and more powerful electronics are used in autos, especially in EVs. These electronics provides great computational power in smaller packages, thus generating more heat. For dealing with this issue, players are developing poneering thermal management solutions and performance thermal interface materials. GLPOLY is one of the players specializing in developing thermal interface materials for 5G telecom, new energy electric vehicles.

GLPOLY launched a range of performance thermal gap pad with 4.5W/mK-11.0W/mk thermal conductivity for automotive electronics, taking top spot on the list of high performance thermal gap pads. This is reality.

Last year, an automotive electronics manufacturer contacted us consulting about a high thermal conductivity thermal gap pad for head-up display. According to design, a 5X5mm in 0.5mm thick thermal gap pad with 4.5-5.0W/mK thermal conductivity was required. He said he wanted to find a substitute for imported product for better cost and logistics control. He had tested several famous local brands of products, and found none of them could meet requirements. This time he collected three samples including GLPOLY XK-P45 thermal gap pad for one last try.

One month later, customer called back and said XK-P45 was the only that provided equivalent performance to the imported product he used before. Furthermore, price of XK-P45 is 30% lower than that of product he used. Now it is in volume production.
