L-Glutamine
L-Glutamine, also known as L-glutamine or L-2-aminopentanedioic acid amide, is an organic compound with the molecular formula C5H10N2O3 and a molecular weight of 146.15. It exists as a white crystalline or powdery substance that is odorless and slightly sweet. L-Glutamine is stable in neutral solutions but can decompose in alcohols, alkalis, or hot water. It is soluble in water but practically insoluble in methanol, ethanol, ether, benzene, acetone, ethyl acetate, chloroform, and other organic solvents.
