Calcium Carbonate
Safety and precautions of Calcium Carbonate
Dust hazard: Long-term inhalation of calcium carbonate dust may cause respiratory irritation (such as pneumoconiosis), and dust prevention measures (such as wearing masks and ventilation equipment) should be taken during the production process.
Storage conditions: Dry and well-ventilated, avoid contact with acidic substances (to prevent reaction and formation of CO₂).
Contraindicated for patients with hypercalcemia: Medical calcium carbonate may cause elevated blood calcium levels. Patients with renal insufficiency should use it with caution.
