Powder Refining Flux
Powder Refining Flux (SATA-PF-330)
General Description of Powder Refining Flux (SATA-PF-330)
For aluminium alloys, since the Al has strong chemical activity, the inclusions and gases are easily generated during the smelting process, and they are distributed inside the alloy after solidification of the melt, which will reduce the alloy’s quality, It is necessary of removing the oxide inclusion, enhance the casting quality and avoid defects in the casting.
SATA-refining flux also name aluminium flux powder, which used for removing non-metallic inclusions from aluminium molten, it also will form a layer that efficiently prevents the aluminium molten from reacting with generating hydrogen pick-up and oxides from the air.
There are two options: One is general refining flux with emission. Another one is fewer fumes during working.
Application of Powder Refining Flux (SATA-PF-330)
The flux can be added by manually spreading or added by an injection equipment, when added it by an injection equipment, with the help of nitrogen or argon and flux, the oxide and hydrogen also can be removed , the injection time required is 15-20 minutes, after refining, impurities will float up to the surface.
Advantage of Powder Refining Flux (SATA-PF-330)
Less dosage, Eco-friendly and less fume
Low working temperature, it can fully react with aluminium molten
Easy operation, it can added by manually and injection equipment
Excellent performance in removing oxide inclusions and drossing from aluminium melt
There are sodium free recipe refining flux, suitable for high mg content aluminium alloy, avoid or reduce the white spots on the surface of aluminium and aluminium alloys, improve the product quality
