High-purity titanium carbide rods have stable performance

Titanium carbide round rods made of hard alloy have excellent electrical conductivity and can be used to make electrodes for electrical discharge machining. In the electrical discharge forming of precision molds, they can ensure low electrode wear and high processing accuracy. It has excellent fatigue resistance and is not prone to cracking under repeated impact loads, making it suitable for manufacturing tool components with high-frequency vibration. In the field of nuclear energy, due to its outstanding radiation resistance, it is often used as a processing tool for internal parts of nuclear reactors. The production process of this round bar is extremely strict, from the purity control of titanium carbide powder (purity ≥99.5%) to the precise regulation of sintering temperature (about 1500℃), every step affects the final performance. The finished product features excellent dimensional stability. Under temperature variations ranging from -50℃ to 300℃, its coefficient of thermal expansion is only 6×10⁻⁶/℃, which is significantly lower than that of metal materials, ensuring the precision of precision tools in various environments. It is widely used as wear-resistant inserts in automotive molds, capable of withstanding long-term high-pressure friction without easy wear, thus extending the service life of the molds.
