Unfinished bar stock - heat treatable

This high-purity titanium carbonitride (TiCN) round bar is fabricated via hot-pressing and sintering of ultrafine TiCN powder (particle size: 1–3 μm, purity ≥ 99.6 wt%). Available in diameters ranging from φ3 mm to φ120 mm and lengths from 50 mm to 1500 mm, dimensions and surface finishes—including single-end or four-end precision grinding, threading, and custom surface treatments—are fully customizable. The material exhibits a theoretical density of 6.68 g/cm³, Vickers hardness equivalent to HRA ≥ 92, compressive strength ≥ 3200 MPa, and fracture toughness ≥ 6.0 MPa·m¹/². Microstructural analysis confirms full densification with no detectable porosity. Surface roughness is controlled to Ra ≤ 0.4 μm; dimensional tolerance is ±0.01 mm, and straightness is maintained at ≤ 0.02 mm/m—free from cracks, inclusions, or other surface defects. The component demonstrates exceptional resistance to wear, high-temperature oxidation (retaining mechanical integrity up to 1200 °C, with continuous service capability ≤ 1600 °C), and chemical corrosion—including exposure to acidic and alkaline environments. It is widely employed in demanding applications such as hardmetal tool blanks, mechanical seals, mining drill bits, precision molds and dies, aerospace structural components, electronic conductive elements, and high-temperature metallurgical and chemical processing equipment. As a reinforcement phase in advanced composites or as a near-net-shape structural component, it delivers 5–8× extended service life compared to conventional metallic bars. All batches undergo rigorous quality control per ISO-certified manufacturing protocols and are accompanied by comprehensive material test reports verifying composition, microstructure, mechanical properties, and dimensional conformity. Products are vacuum-packaged to ensure integrity during transit.
